MANAWATU FIXTURES

Mr. J. Colquhoun presided at a meeting of the Manawatu Rugby Couhcil tonight. ‘ August 4 was selected ns the date to send a Manawatu, team to Southern Hawke's Buy for the annual match, and June 23 was selected as the date to send a junior team to play Bush at Pahiatua. It was decided that the midget competitions commencd on June 2, free balls to be supplied by the union. The following are the fixtures arranged for next Saturday:— Senior: Old Boys v. Folding Old Boys, at Feilding; Woodville v. Athletic, at Woodville; Kai Toa v. Feilding, at Showgrounds. \ Junior: High School v. Feilding Old Boys, at Feilding; Ashhurst v. St. Patrick’s, at Ashhurst; Feilding v. Bunnythorpe, at Feilding; West End Old Boys v. Athletic, at Showgrounds; Old Boys v. Kin Toa, at Showgrounds.
Third grade: Feilding High School v. Old Boys A, at Showgrounds; Kia Toa v. Athletic, at Showgrounds; Woodville v. St. Patrick’s, at Woodville; West End Old Boys v. Bunnythorpe, at Bunnythorpe ; Feilding v. Old Boys B, at Feilding High School ground.
Fourth grade: High School v. West End Old Boys, at High School; Technical v. St. Patrick’s, nt Showgrounds; Kia Ton v. Feilding High School, at Feilding .School ground; Woodville, a bye. The following entries for the seven-a-side tournament on June 4 were accepted Senior: University (Wellington), Hutt, Karerau (Wanganui), Selwyn, Rongotea, Feilding Old Boys, Athletic. Kia Toa (2), Feilding, Shannon Old Boys (2). Junior: Miranui (2), High School (2), Hutt, Feilding Old Boys, Huia. St. Patrick's (2).
