CHARGES OF BREAKING AND ENTERING

TWO YOUNG MEN PLEAD GUIL’fY. Dominion Special Service. Christchurch. September 13. Charges of breaking and entering and theft, throwing light on a number of offences during August, were admitted by Nathaniel Boyd and Leslie Stannifonn Willetts, two young men, in the Mgistrate’s Court, before Mt.. E. D. Mosley, S.M., to-day. Four charges were preferred against accused jointly and two agaiust Willetts alone. Boyd pleaded guilty to all charges and Willetts to tlie joint charges. Both were committed to tlie Supreme Court for sentence. Willetts was committed for trial on the two charges involving him alone. Bail was .allowed Boyd in the sum of £lOO and one surety of £lOO, and he was ordered to report to the police daily. The Magistrate refused bail for Willetts, stating that he intended to give the two men no opportunity to associate.
