BEAM WIRELESS
CANADIAN TESTS SATISFACTORY (Rec. October 14, 7.35 p.m.) London, October 13. It is learned that the trial of beam wireless with Canada from Bodmin had very satisfactory results. An official seven days’ test is now in progress, and if the conditions conform to the agreement the service will probably be inaugurated within a month. A few weeks will be necessary to complete adjustments, The South African station, also tht Indian and Australian stations at Grimsby and Skegness, respectively, are expected to he ready for preliminary tests by the middle of November.
