Sir, —I have been asking myself the question: Who is Mr. Grimsdale Anderson, who so frequently floods your correspondence columns? Well, for a piece of downright class arrogance his last contribution appearing in your issue of the Pth inst. "takes the cake.” Sec how autocratically he orders those unfortunates, the butcher, the baker and the candlestick maker to stand down, mind their own businesses, and leave his severely alone. Here we have the makings of an amateur Trotsky or a Lenin. Mr. Anderson forgets, or fails to understand, that without the people to whom he so contemptuously refers, he would find it a very difficult matter to make his business—presumably he is a farmer —a success, and Would he ignore their right to have something to say when combinations with compulsory powers may operate to their disadvantage? His arguments as to compulsion being a conspicuous element in ordinary everyday affairs are not worth answering.— I am, etc., CONSUMER.
