HARRIERS
The Wellington Harriers Club com. inenced the season on Saturday with an informal run at Lyall Bay. There was a large . attendance of members and friends. During the afternoon. Mr. 0. W. Palmer, a vice-president of the club, was introduced to the new members. 0. Devereux, club captain), led the pack over a trail of about 41 miles. Starting from the bathing shed the trail led along the beach to the fishermen's huts then on to the sandhills, where the old champion, ship course was followed for one lan. then back through the sindhills to Lyall Bay.
