EMPIRE’S WAR GRAVES ENCIRCLE WORLD By Telegraph— Press, Association. CoPYBIGHT. London, March 20. A comprehensive, description of the work of the Imperial War Graves Comn ission is given for the first time in the fifth annual report. A chain of the graves of nearly 1,020,000 men encircles the earth. One of the most impressive works of the commission will be the collective monument at Gallipoli rising 100 feet on the highest ground above Cape Helles, on which are inscribed the names of all ships and units participating in the campaign, and also the names of the British, Irish, Australians, New Zealanders, and Indians with unknown graves. At the southern entrance of the Suez Canal an obelisk 6j feet high is being erected in commemoration of the Indian troops. Similar collective memorials will be erected in France and Belgium.—Reuter.
