THE P. & T. OFFICERS
THE NEW SCHEDULE DISCUSSED The Post and Telegraph Officers’ Association met last evening and privately discussed, the new schedule submitted last Friday by the Government. “The general opinion,” said Mr, H. E. Combs, to a Dominion reporter last evening, “was that it was no real offer of an improvement at all. It really means that nothing has been offered. A meeting is arranged with the Postmaster-General to discuss it in detail to-morrow.” “I have no statement to make in regard to the attitude of the P. and T. officers to the railway strike,” said Mr. Combs.
