CAUGHT RED-HANDED
BURGLARS IN WINE DEPOT By Telegraph—Press Association. April 21. Two burglars at the Kaipara Wine Company’s depot in Stanley Street were captured red-handed by detectives on Saturday night. One man remained outside to keep watch while the other, it is stated, entered the store. He was allegedly in the act of stretching out his hand to take a bottle when he was grabbed by the detectives. One of the men is stated to have offered considerable resistance to arrest and fought violently before being overpowered.
