MR. COATES VISITS MANGAHAO. Palmerston North, April 10. The Minister of Public Works (the Hon. J. G. Coates) to-day visited tho Mnngahao electric works, and in the afternoon will return tn Palmerston North. To-morrow he ■will inspect Die improvement works in the Manawatu Gorge, when representatives of contributing local bodies, also chambers of commerce and members of tho board, will meet the Minister to go into the question of the amount of the Government subsidy on tAio work.
