NEW WORLD’S RECORD BY NEWMAN. (Rec. April 8, 5.5 p.m.) London, April 7. Newman to-day made a now world’s record by completing three successive breaks of over five hundred: Yesterday he made 542 and 585 unfinished, and to-day he completed the latter at 705.
