BIG FIRE IN ADELAIDE
QUARTER DF A MILLION OF DAMAGE. (Rec. February 21, 9.45 p.m.) Adelaida, February 21. Fire destroyed Duncan and 1 rascr’s motor-car showrooms, premises occupied by tho Duncan Motors. Dimitedand two floors of the Farmers’ Co-oper-ative Union. There wore destroyed 190 niotor-ca-rs. The damage is estimated at a quarter of a million. A terrific explosion followed the. outbreak, and several adjoining buildings caught fire, but these outbreaks were extinguished.—Press Assn.
