FIVE MACHINES DESTROYED AT PONGAROA

BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. Pahiatua, January 15. At Pongaroa, about 8 o’clock <m Saturday night, Mr. E. Roulston’s garage and five motor-cars were burned. Two of the cars belonged to Mr. Roulstoii, and the others to visitors. It is reported that they were uninsured. The buildings were insured, and belonged to Mr. E. Dickens, of Dannovirke. Iho origin of tho firo is unknown, but it is supposed that it started in the repair shop. ___________
