SEAMEN THREATENED WITH VIOLENCE TELEGBAPH —2BESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, November 24. In the Police ■ Court to-day. Cornelius Donaghue was charged with intimidating tlireq men, and with naving threatened, two of them with violence while they were employed on the steamer Wingatui. The accused pleaded guilty. He hit a winchman. Hood, a violent blow on the jaw, got him by the throat, aud pinned him against a partition until another member of the crew intervened. , . - Accused was sentenced to fourteen day’s imprisonment on each charge.
