A message from Gallatin (Missouri) reports a sensational bank robbery which resulted in the shooting of the Mayor, the town marshal, and another citizen wiio gave battle to the robbers. Six bandits broke into the First National Bank and were discovered by tho’marshal just as explosives were set before the vault and blew up wrt« terrific force, destroying the safe and wrecking the building. Tho marshal opened fire, whereupon he was shot down.
