RUSSIAN FAMINE FUND
BT TEJ,EGHAPH—PRK6S ASSOCIATION. Christchurch, June 28. In response to a cable message sent to Lord Weardale regarding the present position of tho Russian famine, Mr. Rose, chairman of tho local fund, has received the following reply: “I beg you to endeavour to keep the fund ' open. Feeding three hundred thousand children. Sir Benjamin Rpbertson states we must keep this going even if the harvest is good in September.”
