FORCES FOR THE EAST
MOVEMENT OF BRITISH TROOPS AND WARSHIPS. London June 21. Advices from Malta state that the 2nd Battalion of the Essex Regiment is erabarking immediately for Constantinople. All available destroyers are alio sailing eastward with the cruiser Blenheim. All the ships of the Fourth and First Battle Squadrons are already in the Eastern Mediterranean, ■ and apparently the entire Mediterranean Fleet is concentrating in tho Near and Middle East.
The "Times" Constantinople correspondent states that the front is quiet, and it is reported that the Nationalists hove withdrawn eastward.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. ,
