PRONOUNCEMENT BY EX-AMEER.
London, June 2t. Renter's correspondent at Teheran states that a Kabul journal has published a pronouncement of the ox-Amcer, who declared that only Britain opposed the Islami Caliphate, but added that he did not think she would decide for a policy which would prejudice the friendly relations she desires to 1 maintain with Afghanistan. "The proud Afghans," .he adds, "will not tolerate a Caliphate under foreign protection, If British statesmen will, not maintain the friendship we. are ready to face any danger."—Router.'
