MOTOR CYCLE AND TRAIN COLLIDE
CYCLIST DIES FROM INJURIES, By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmcrston North, December 10. Mr. Jack M'Carty, aged 41, blacksmith and liorso dentist, died at the hospital as tho result of a collision between his motor-cyclo and tho Napier express from 'Wellington, at an open crossing allowing a full view of th« train. Mr. M'Carty must have mistaken tho pace and trusted to get clear over, but he was caught full on and jammed between the smoke-box and the cow-catcher, and frightfully injured. He has left a widow and two sons.
