THE DIFFERENCE WITH CHINA'. (Rec. January 28, 5.5 p.m.) Peking, January 27. The Cbeng-Chiu-Timg dispute between China and Japan has been finally settled. China agrees that tho Chinese officials will apologise and will pay compensation for the Japanese victims! The Japanese troops will quit Cheng-Cliia-Tung when the terms Jiavo heen fulfilled. The other disputes have nob been settled. China refuses to allow Japan to appoint a'military instructor to the Chinese Military Academy, and will refuse to recognise Japanese police south of "Manchuria or ol Mongolia.—Aus.-N.7 ( .
