Tile- ex-Crown Princess Louise of Saxony lias become reconciled to her husband, Signor Toseili, and is now living with him at Florence. Tho ex-Crown Princess of Saxony, who came of tho Austrian royal family, fled with her eon's tutor, 11. Giron, and was . divorocd by her husband in 1303. In 1907 she was married (o Signor Toselli in London. A few weeks ago tho ex-Prin-cess published a volume of memoirs, of which a reviewer says: —Perhaps the only really new assertion in tho book is tho explanation she gives of the reasons for ' her flight, and of her relations with her ■ son's tutor. Her account is that her . husband's family conceived a malignant i hatred of her, and that iimtlly the old King, her husband's father, threatened to have her shut up in a lunatic asylum. 1 It was ia dread of this, she says, that she ■ appealed to her brother, and ho took her to Switzerland. After a few days there, however, ho became anxious to bring the ; escapado to an end and persuaded her 1 that she would eventually bo cnticcd back to Dresden, and there put in an asylum. The Princess says that in order to frustrate this she resolved to compromise herself with her son's tutor, "who had already suffered through his friendship with me. ... I was perfectly aware that ■ once tho step was taken it could not bo : rotraccd,"
