ME. HARRY RICKARDS. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright London, October 13. Mr. Harry Rickards, tho well-known Australian theatrical proprietor, died 'Suddenly here, from apoplexy. Sydney, October 14. Advices have been received hero confirmatory of the press cablo announcing the death of Harry Rickards. Mr. Harry Rickards was one of tho best-known figures in Australian theatrical circles, and his name was also well known in Now Zealand. His theatres in Sydney and Melbourne have been in oxistenco for many years, and more recently he extended his operations to Adelaide and Perth. Ho made periodical visits to England and the Continent to secure artists for his theatres, and recently he decided to take up his permanent residence in England. Ho leaves a widow and two daughters, both of whom are married.
