THE W.F.A. COMMITTEE MEETS. Mr. D. Ij. Salmon presidod over an ordinary moctiag of the Management Committee of tho Wellington Football Association last evening. A letter was received from Mr. H. N. ITolmoy, resigning his position as chairwan of the commit tee. Mr. Holmes also tha-nked members for part support. Tho resignation was accepted with regret. It was resolved that (he committee placo on record their appreciation of tho many and valuable services rendered (o tho W.F.A. by Mr. Holmes, and morn especially for tho very able manner in which Mr. Holtuos had carried out arduous dutun while acting as chairman of tho Management Committee. The secretary (Mr. A.
