THE Y.M.C.A. CLUB. Tho annual general meeting of fl\e Y.M.C.A. Swimming Club was held last evening. Mr. 11. \Y. Kersley occupied tilt l chair. The annual report and balance-sheet wore adopted. • Tliirtoun new members were elected. Mr. 11. N. Holmes, lata general secretary, was elected a life member, being the iir'st to be so elected. It was reported thut (ho junior members of the club are showing excellent form, and will apparently bo a valuablo asset to tho olub. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. 11.. W. Ivorsley; vice-mwi-dents. Messrs. C. S. Falconer, R. Poorson, J. G. Smith, — Watkins, T. Crouch, D. Gillies, J. S. Butler; oaptain, W. G. A. Chartres; vico-captain, E. C. Cliartres; liandirapper, A. A. SomcrviHe; treasurer, AV. L. Wilson; secretary, ft. Baker; committee., G. P. Hanna, S. M'Dowall, J. G. Lennox, S. Porter, F. Evans; auditor, AV. G. Morpeth; delo sates, G. P. Hanna and li. Baker. It was decided to open the season on Saturday, October 21.
