9 • SUPREME COURT. (Before Sir Robert Stout, C.J.)' ESTATE OP LATE A. D. WILLIS. Sir liobert Stout sit in Chambers on Satnrdav and heard an application concerning'the estate of the late. A. D. Willis, Wnnganui. The trustees deshvd permission to convert the. business of wholesale bookselling into a company. Mr C B. Morisou represented them. Mr. V. R. Willis appeared for the majority of the beneficiaries, and Mr. H. D. Gil'Hcs for Frank Willis, of Hamilton, another beneficiary. The application was granted. MAGISTRATE'S COURT. (Before Mr. W. G. Eiddell, S.M.) At the Magistrate's Court on Saturday one first offender, charged with drunkenness, was convicted ami discharged. For a similar offence Geo. Lester Burton was fined 205., in default seven days' detention.
