The market was well supplied with vegetables, and prices showed a considerable decline. Choice.cauliflowers sold at Gs. fid. to 13s. per sack, cabbages 3s. to Bs., potatoes Is. 6d. per cwt., carrots 2s. Cd. to 3s. per sack, parsnips, 4s. to ss. per sack, swedes 2s. to 3s. per cwt., lettuce 2s. to 3s. per case, and pumpkins 9s. per sack.
