NEWCASTLE MINE STRIKE.
DEMANDS BY THE WnEBLERS. By Teksraph—Prose Association—Oopyriiht Sydney, July 13. The Newcastle and Wollsend inino is idle, owing to a strike of wheelers, who demanded payment for small coal. Previously only round coal was paid for. .Eight hundred man aro affected. The miners and the men wheelers urged the boys to reconsider their decision, but they remained firm in their demands.
