Master Soult easily Ileal EloeIrakoff over six furlongs on the inner grass in Imin. 21 :!-.Vcc., but the former is still showing svmptoms of un^oundiioss. After breakfast Honncrge* beat Kiloteri over seven furlong* in Imiu. Xisec, and Santa Kosa beat ltcgiiin over the same journey in Imiu. 112 2-s>pc. J.ord Possible, Smila.N, and Ohiirn were in I hat order sit. the er.U of four furlongs, lefl hetind in 52 l-osec, but there was not much between them. Nylanrl and Gold Circle went, a furlong further in lmin. t S-ssee. Paiwino and The Native separately did useful work. Appin (Thompson)" and Whakaweira (Flynn) went a round of hurdles. The latter hit one fence hard. Bully pleased better , than Ribstoue Pippin in a similar task. Cloudy Morn covered a round of the hurdles in good style. Blue Mountain, Master Stead, and Rambling Rose were in that order a,t tho end of a round over the hurdles; the first-named was easily the best. Arty and Commander went a round of tho big country without, mishap; tho latter fenced slowly. Kunakaha and Dinkum did tho samo task in good style. EI Dorado and Torbelle went the fame journey, but neither pleased, tho fencing being slovenly. Bachelor, Bonnio Jean, Moa, and Red Macgrogor were companions in a like task. The last-named got rid of his rider (Flynn) at the top of the lull. ■ Flynn. was hurt, but the extent of his injuries is not yet available. Castout was alone in a similar task. Reservoir, Hoanga, and Riro Atu jumped the big fences in the centre of the course. The first-named fell at the stone wall.
Eeumac, Corazon, Auratu?, Pleiados, Winiata, and The Dane arrived this morning. The jockey Flynn is in a private hospital. He is suffering from a broken rib.
