9 To-day the Hon. J. Carroll, tho Hon. G. Fnwids, the Hon. J. A. Millar, and the Hon. A. T. Xgata will be in Wellington; the Hon. H. M'Kenzie will be in Dunedin; the Hon. D. Buddo at Kainpoi; and the Hon. T. Mackenzie at Auckland. Mr. 11. 2. Anderson, of Messrs. Bullcv, Anderson, and Buddie, was yesterday admitted as. a barrister by tho Chief Justice (Sir Kobcrt Stout), on the motion of Mr. H. Buddie., Mr. T. E. Davis, of tho Waihi Company, has been appointed electrical instructor at the Thames School of MinesPress Association. The Charitable Aid Committee, at the instance of tho Rev. AV. A. Evans, yesterday extended a welcome to Miss lurk, , its official visitor, who has just rehu'iied from a period of holiday leave. It is freely rumoured in military circles ! that Captain G. S. Kichardson, Chief Instructor of Artillery, and at present at ioched to tho Department of Military Operations and Intelligence at General Headquarters, is going to England in July next for a course at the Staff College, a't Camberlcy.
