SPEECHES IN LONDON. By Telegraph—Press Association-Co'pyricht (Keo, May 3, 0.30 p.m.) London, May 3. At a dinner given by the Cold Storage and Ice Association, Sir William HallJones, High Commissioner for New Zealand, said he did not believe some of the statements which had been made about the mishandling of meat, but if the means of distribution were slightly improved it would be of great advantage to both shippers and sellers.
