CORONER'S INQUIRY ENDS. (By Telegraph-Press Association.) .Whatißarel, April 25. As a result of the coroner's inquiry into tho circumstances attending the death of John Freeman, whose murdered remains were found in the Puhipuhi bush on Thursday last, the jury returned tlie following verdict after a short adjournment:—"That John Freeman came ifi his death on or about April o, at Puhipuhi, by blows on the head inflicted by Taki Kaka with a stick or other weapon." • The coroner said the verdict was tantamount to wilful murder. '
