(From Our Special Correspondent.) : At the Lower Hiitt Police Court on Monday Arthur Mudgway, charged with insobriety, was lined os., and costs 7s. Mr. Cliapman was the presiding justice of the peace. The monthly public meeting of the I-lutt No-License Leaguo was held at Pelono on Monday evening. The hall was well filled) and a musical programme was presented, the following contributing items:—.Misses Hoiutz, Hrnddock (2), Gqdber, Wood, Rogers, and Messrs. M'Ewan, Woodland, and Master TJsmar. The speaker for the evening was Mr. S. A. Mudgc, of Melbourne, who spoko on "Our Relationship to Alcohol."
