THE W.F.A. MEETING. Last evening the Wellington football Association held its weekly meeting, Mr. H. X. Holmes presiding. A letter was received from the secretarv of the Rovers Club asking permission to "r>!av matches at Feilding and Palmcrstoi. on Easter Saturday and iloutlay respectively.—Granted. It was decided to write to the Mental Hospital Club asking them to reconsider their decision not to play, in the Senior Division this season. The various clubs are to he notified that the time for receiving entries for all coinretitions close with the secretary (Mr. A. Williams) on Wednesday next. It was resolved that the Wednesday clubs meet on Monday night at the Y.M.C.A., at S p.m., to elect the Wednesday Sub-Association Committee for the ensuing year.
MAXAWATU ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Mauawatu Frotball Association was hold on Tuesday night, Mr. Rutherfurd being in the chair. The arrangement of a match with Dannevirke on Easter Monday was left in the hands of the secretary. Mr. A. R. Williams attended in eonnectio.i with the affiliation of the Dannevirke Club, but as the players of that di.-triet, could only -arrange matches on Wednesday the m'attor fell" through. It w'.-i* decided, however, to endeavour to arrange some gam.":- with Dannevirke on Wednesdays. The Rangers and Celtic < 'bibs reported that thoy were endeavouring to farm junior teams, Fixtures for the first round of the championship matc'ies were drawn.
