WOMAN SUFFRAGE.
MR. ROOSEVELT'S IDEAL. By Telegraph—Press Association-Oopyrisht New York, March 26. Mr. Roosevelt, addressing the students of the University of California, at San Francisco, said he favoured woman's suffrage. ' He h'ajl. studied the question deeply. However, he did not think it important by comparison with other questions affecting women. Mr. Roosevelt summed up the ideal woman as a good wife and mother, capable of rearing a large family.
