. .'ATARANAKI MOVE. Mr. F.- J. Heatley, JI.A.i technical organiser under-..tho .Taranaki Education Board, has recently .issijed'jthe following circular:—"l am writing you 'in the hope of enlisting your.sympathy .With the idea of a series of winter lectures on popular lines dealing with general ' agriculture and dairy work. ' The lectures would be on lines similar to those proving successful elsewhere, and might "form a connected course dealing with such points as winter feeding, manures, sanitation, r,ud care of milk, milk sampling and testing, etc. In case of a course beinj arranged in any centre, its length would bo ten weaks (one night or aii?rncon per week, and two hours per lecture). The class might bo formed"through the medium of the local teacher or creamery manager, and tho minimum number to form itwould be eight students over 1G years ef age. Tho fee charged would be 15s. per member in z class of less than twelve, and 10s. per member in classes of over twelve. In event of a class not being formed as above, single lectures might bo arranged (at times suitable) to be given by various experts on different subjects of practical interest to farmers."
