A QUESTION OF CONTROL. (By Telegraph,—Press Association.) Christchurch, March 15, A lengthy discussion took place at the lntetiug of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board on the question whether or not tho matron of the hospital should have control of tho nurses in tho board's institutions outside the hospital. It wae sought to rescind the following resolution :-— "That the nurses employed in the board s institutions bo under the control of the matron of (he hospital as far aa their nursing duties are coucerned." Tho motion to rescind was negatived, and it was decided to refer a letter from the matron on the subject to a committee to report on the matter.
