The members of the Wairarapa Egg Circle are stated to have gained 2s. lid. more on every ten dozen of eggs during the past three weeks, than if (hey had marketed them in the old way.

FEILDING. Jressrs. W. J. B. Trewin, ex-jrayor, and Peter Thomson, are mentioned as probable candidates at the municipal election next month. Jtr. Trewin intends to address the ratepayers on municipal matters shortly. The Rev. James Clover,, who is being transferred from Halcombo circuit to Hamilton, preached a farewell sermon yesterday at both services. At, the Feilding Primitive Methodist Church special harvest thanksgiving services were held yesterday by the Salvation Army and the Methodists.
