It was reported to tlio Loudon County Council recently that the number of meals actual and estimated to be supplied to necessitous children up to the end of Jlarch will exceed that estimated bv 1,728,293, and an additional sum of ,E23 800 will be required. This is due to the iucreasa in the number of children led in the first part of the year, the increase in the average number of meals per child per week, and in the average cost per meal, and the fcupply of equipment beyond that estimated for,.
