COLLEGE RIFLES AT EASTBOURNE. By the courtesy of tho Eastbourne Rifle Club, tho College Rifles were on Saturday allowed the use of the club's range for the second. match of No. 3 Trophy Competition, at 200 and 300 yards range, seven shots at each distance. The shooting men had a very pleasant afternoon at tho Bay, and wish to record their thanks to the Eastbourne Club for tho kindness extended to them. The scores were :— 200 300 yds. yds. H'p Tl. Pte. WELLINGTON NAVALS AT MIRAMAR Tho AYellington Navals fired tho.eichth match of tho company's helt and trophy competition at Miramar on Saturday. The ranges were 200 and GOO yards, seven shots at each range. Gunner Croxton put up a handsome score ot 6S for tho two ranges, his aggregate including a "possible" at GOO yards. C.P.O. Martin's team won tho Martin challenge badges, with an aggregate score of 225; Gunner Boon's team camo second with 208; Gunner F. £. Martin's team, third, 182; Gunner Croxton's team, fourth, 182. SUBURBS RIFLE CLUB. Tho Suburbs Defence Rifle Club .«oh-' linucd their shooting at Miramar for two special trophies presented for one day's shoot for the Saturday and Wednesday squads. Marshall (lvarorn is chairman, and Rifleman E. Coady (Karori) secretary. Rifle clubs requiring them should make prompt application.
