UNITED TWIN SISTERS.
INNOCENT ARRESTED WITH GUILTY. By Tekeraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Roc. March 12, 5.5 p.m.) Berlin, March 11. One of the twin sisters Blazek, who aro known as the successors of the. Siamese Twins, has been accused of disregarding a judgment concerning a breach of contract. Tho twins were arrested and conveyed to prison. Tho manager of tho musichall, where they aro appearing, has pnid tho sum demanded and has obtained tho release of tho sisters, but damages aro claimed for the illegal arrest of the innocent sister.
An amusing discussion took place last night at the King's Cross Station of the Great Northern Railway (says the- London ''Times" of January 12), ivlicn tho twin sisters Blazck arrived from Edinburgh. Born 31 years ago in Bohemia, Yosefa and Rosa Blazek, who are known as tho successors of tho. Siamese Twins, are inseparably joined together, and when it was found that they had bought only one ticket the question arose whether the railway company was entitled to "ask for a second fare. Such a case had never been heard pf before, and after much perplexity tho railway officials satisfied themselves with taking the name and address of Mr. Ike S. Rose, of Berlin, who is accompanying the twins on their travels, and who explained that ho had never taken more than ono ticket for them and had never been asked for a second fare. The object of tho sisters' visit to London was to undergo an examination by surgeons and doctors of the General Medical Council. One of the sisters has a nine months' old baby, which she was carrying in her arms on her arrival at King's Cross.
