A LIBERAL VICTORY. By Telecraph—l'rcss Association—Copyright (Ree. March 13, 0.55 a.m.) Sydney, March 12. The by-election for the North Sydney seat in tho Federal Parliament, rendered necessary by tho death of Mr. Edwards, resulted in the return of Colonel Eyrie, tho Liberal candidate. The voting was:— Colonel Ryrie (Liberal), 11,500; Mr. O'Brien (Labour),'43oo.
