EXTRAORDINARY PRECAUTIONS. LARGE FORCE OF CARABINIERS. 9y Telcgraph-'Prcss Assoclation-Oonj'Tlih'' (Hec. March 13, 0.30 a.m.) Rome, March 11. Tho trial of the 11 Camorrists, including Alfani, leader of tho Neapolitan Camorra, details of which were cabled on March 0, has commenced. The Church of-Kctilzi, at Viterbo, has been transformed into a law court. Six hundred witnesses have arrived in the charge of 100 detectives. A force of 1000 carbiniers patrols the town, and tho prisoners are locked in an iron cage, each accompanied by a carabinier. There is a smaller cage for tho informer. Tho authorities are finding a difficulty in securing a jury, many of the townspeople tendering niedie.il certificates of ill-health.
