Queensland) Government is taking a half million: loan from the Federal Government. last evening regarding tho above coble, the Prime Minister eald he knew nothing aboul the statement. .It was obviously an error. , The Commonwealth Government has lately been lending to tho different States considerable: sums of tho money which has flowed into its coffers since it oegan tho issuo of paper monoy. The message presumably refers to a transaction with either Aew South Wales or Queensland.
