Government take over tho whole -control of aborigines from tho States. - • '
Mr. Batchelor said that the treatment of natives in tho past had boon a blot on Australia's government, and ho was not going to allow tho old condition of affairs to continue. A Protector of Aborigines and two inspectors would be appointed, and there would also bo medical officers in various districts to look after tho blacks. Ono or two reserves would be immediately established.
