Edwards presiding. A - letter was read from the League Council requesting the centre to express its opinion regarding the amalgamation of the League of AVhoelmen with the New .Zealand Athletic Union. After a strong discussion on the subject, it was resolved, on the motion of Mr. J. Kennedy: "That we, members of the AVellington Centre of the. L.N.Z.AV., do not entertain any of tho proposals'sot forth in the"circular to the League Council for the amalgamation of the. leajjue with, the N.Z. Athletic Union, and trust that the league will still retain their control of cycling as heretofore. AA'e also urge the council to uphold this centre in its decision.'' The motion was carried unanimously.
