APPEAL IN PROSSER'S CASE. The Court of Appeal, at its nest sit tings, will be called upon to hear an' appeal from the decision of the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) in the cast of Mrs. Emily Ada Prosser versus the Ocean Accident Guarantee Corporation, Limited. Judgment in the case was given against the insurance, company on Monday. The hearing of evidence occupied three days, Mr. P. J. O'Regan appearing for Mrs. Prosser, and Mr. T. M. Wilford for the insurance company. The judgment affirmed, inter alia, that a man, acting as agent for his wife, may fill up a proposal for the insurance of her property, mating no mention of any previous, fires he himself may have had, or any insurance claims he may have made.
