PRESS CABLES.
CONDEMNED BY FEDERAL PRIME MINISTER. HE SPEAKS OF A STATE LINE. By Teleeraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, May 25. In a speech nt Narandera, tho Labour Prime Minister, Mi. Fisher, criticised the press cablo service. Ho stated that the news of tho world, as supplied by the' cables to tho daily press, was not merely inadequate, but misleading. They did not want to hear about dogfights and big dinners; they wanted to know how the cause of humanit)' was progressing in every part of the world. Ho hoped a better cable service might be inaugurated soon over a State line of their own.
