MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The Management Committee of the' Wellington Boxing Association mot last evening, Mr. 14. W. IT I illy presiding. A letter was received from Mr. W. P Cor-, bettj of ihe Sydney "Keferee," with.referenco to the proposed tour in New Zealand of T. Bums, who will be accompanied by L. O'DonneU and P. O'Keeffe. Considerable discussion arose, over the attitude to be adopted ,by the association towards the tour,: and it iwas finally resolved to approve, subject to the usual conditions of control. Df.,W. E. Herbert wrote accepting the position of honorary medical examiner to the association. . ' /The proposal of the Manawatu Boxing Association to withdraw the Nathan Challenge Cup from competition was approved. _ A letter was received from the Northern Boxing Association stating that in accordance with the reciprocal agreement entered into between affiliated associations, a match had been arranged between T. Tracy, of Wellington, and J. Unffin, of . Greymouth,- to take place at Auckland on May G. The action of. the secretary, in approving of-: the arrangements after consultation with, tho chairman was approved. . A sub-oommittee was appointed to arrange for the necessary ring apparatus for the approaching boxing, tourney in the Town Hall.. . It was reported that civil proceedings had been instituted by the association against Mr. G. H.Goodall, of Willis Street, to secure the ' refund of .£5 paid by the association to Mr. Goodall with respect to the sub-letting of the Opera House, tho directors of which had deto'recognise QoodaU's right to sub-leti With reference to the contention of the Marlborough Boxing Association that jurisdiction over it was vested in tho -Canterbury Association, it was stated that tho Marlborough Association had been informed that as the rW suit of correspondence/with: the Canterbury Association, the control of the former had, with the approval of' the' Canterbury Association, been transferred to Wellington. - OULIUUOU ' OTAGO ASSOCIATION.
