POOR SCORING. |BT TEIEOIUrU— riiERS ASSOC! ATIOK.I Invorcargill, March 3. The intorprovincial cricket match, Otago v. Southland, began to-day in beautiful weather. The wicket, however, was very tricky, and puzzled tho batsmen, poor scoring being the result. Southland, hatting first, wero all out for 94 runs, Glasgow (33) and Huntly (17) being the only double-figure scorcrs. For Otago Wordsworth took six wickets- for 24 runs. Otago made an even poorer showing, being disposed of for 57, Henderson (10) and Blatnires (10) being the only ones to reach doublo figures. Huntley, for Southland, took five wickets for 13 runs. When stumps wero drawn Southland, in their second innings, had lest eight wickets for 77 runs. The biggest scorer was Hamilton, with 32 (ho was thrown out after he had tho bowling collared, and was apparently on the way for a big score). *
