ARMENIANS MASSACRED.
REPORT CONFIRMED. (by TELEOBAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION —coftuig trr.) (Rec. October 27, 1.12 a.m.) Paris, October 26. . French advices from Konieh, in Asia Minbr, confirm the recent report as to the massacre of many Armeniaus in the Diarbeker district, in the valley of the Tigris. The original cablegram (from Constantinople) stated: 'There are persistent rumours to the effect that Kurds and Turkish regular soldiery massacred male Christians at Viranchehr, a town in the ICastamuni vilayet, Asia Minor. It is said that they v also outraged many women, and then pillaged and burned the town."
