Tho Wellington Kennel Club's show concluded last evening. Tho giant cylinder of paraffin has now burned itself down to tho length of tho ordinary domestic candle, and tho result of tho guessing competition will bo declared at tho beginning of tho week. The challenge shield for tho best curlycoated retriever was awarded yesterday to Messrs. Quinlan and Anderson's-ltewi Rover, which dog has also taken Mrs. Kerliot's special prize of one guinea in the same alass. Tho challengo shield requires to be ■won-three, times in succession or four times at intervals.
